its funny,but a week before andrew died,i lost my grandad,and to this day,i cant figure out witch one of them i miss most. 
I will always remember andrew visiting alans(dads)house.
there was all hes brothers and sista there ,plus myself and alan.
we was watching a cartoon.a poor little yellow thing(i think a pokemon)was killed.and hes little friend had a touching sceen where he cried for hes friend.
i saw andrews eyes wartering,and this for some reason got to me,and i was fighting back the tears myself..i noticed andrew was worried of hes siblings seeing this and moking him.(as they do).
however,wen andrew saw my eyes watering,he gave me THE most speacil shy little grin i ever saw.
it was a true moment for JUST us.nobody knew we was so soppy that day!!(we got away with it)but although i have many memorys of andrews smiling face,big tight hugs and scruffy hair,that is the one i choose to share.as it is the most personal expeiance i had with andrew.
a very special young lad,whom i miss dearly.

skateboarding / Dad

Although Andrew never did flips or fancy skateboard tricks He was as good as the next person as far as I was concerned, Cris, Andrew and myself were over at the skatepark in Tadworth where there is a little slope, well, Cris would be boarding from one end of the skate park to the other whilst Andrew and I watched wishing we could do the same when Andrew said; "I am gonna ride down that little slope you just watch me" He set His board up by the top edge of the slope and stood on His board, with a slight wobble and a big wide 'cheesy' grin He said; "are you ready? Are you watching Dad"? Andrew,(using body movement and weight) started His journey on the small downhill slope. I watched in anticipation and saw Andrew become 'one' with His skateboard, He rode safely to the bottom of the little slope much to the appraisal of Cris and myself we couldn't get over the fact of what He had just conquered and jumped up and down with glee and joy. "Now" said Andrew to me, "It's your turn Dad, if I can do it so can you"!!!! "Yeah Dad" said Cris, "come on Dad, surely if Andrew can do the little slope so can you"?........ mmmm I was thinking, "ok I will then" I said, (I wish I hadn't though, lol) I stood on my skateboard at the edge of the little slope as Andrew and Cris stood at the bottom waiting for me. I leant forward slightly and held out my hands for both my boys to hold and save me from falling (shows how small a slope it was!) They held on tight as I began to descend and OH!!!!! We lost grip and before I reached the bottom my skateboard did,  I dropped hard on my butt.
 When I pass the skatepark even now I see Andrew standing on top of the slope and gliding to the bottom with ease, it always makes me smile just knowing I was there as Andrew conquered one of His many 'quests' lol.

13/08/06 Myself and Andrews Neice (my daughter) went to dad and selinas house for sunday dinner, there i was standing on the front balcony, i looked to the floor and there in-front of me was a skateboard, i glanced up and could suddenly see Andrew just running up to it, jumping on and with a 'poke' in the ribs skating past me followed by his 'cheeky grin' as he looked back. I wanted to share my thought with you all as i feel all memories, and thoughts of Andrew should ALWAYS be remembered.
